Having lived in almost parallel universes, Jon Buscemi and Raif Adelberg grew up infatuated with the same brands, musicians and artists; The two shared an evolution of style. Later to become an opinion leader and streetwear mogul, Adelberg has served as mentor to Buscemi over the years. The brand’s second project with Adelberg eloquently marries the 90’s LA rock scene with queues taken from the previous capsule line inspired by youth in the skateboarding world. Galvanized by music icon Axel Rose taking to the stage in double high top sneakers, the 150MM sneaker and Slide evoke Adelberg’s experiences with the Sunset Strip scene in the early 90’s.

After making the head out of actual chocolate it was decided that painting the head to resemble chocolate would be more realistic and appropriate. Italian photographer Emanuele D'Angelo has a unique ability to capture beautiful images with his camera. Through his lense he photographs fashion, music, and some of the most interesting people on the planet. Emanuele recently met up with British hip hop star Danny Seth at Jimmy Goldstein's house to capture Seth in the new BUSCEMI 125MM GYM. Here's what Emanuele had to say.
Fine artist Angel Otero caught the eye of Jon Buscemi because they share some ideals. Each has refined the art of re-creating a notable piece of art into something more, something idyllic. They see what others don't, and then present it in a way that makes one wonder, "How did I not see that before."
The 100MM Oceano was very much a personal project for Jon Buscemi. "We did an early version of the 100MM in a rich, deep navy blue, but when we were able to source a leather to my standard in this particular blue, which is similar to the navy, I had to make it."
Skateboarding. Traditionally it is the antithesis of luxury, of cleanliness. Safely distant from the aristocracy. Yet skateboarding culture is rooted in the tenets of individuality, style, and expression – attributes shared by all who navigate the high and low streets.

“A new interpretation of luxury; that's what we wanted to accomplish with this project,” said Kyubum Lee (KB), co-founder of Emotionally Unavailable when asked about the collaboration. “We wanted to create military inspired pieces through a luxury scope.”
This year BUSCEMI is inviting filmmakers and directors from around the world to create short films showcasing the brand. Our first installment was directed by New York based filmmaker Mike Warzin, titled "Sky".

As avid sneaker collectors first, Jon and Ronnie recognize the influence that the basketball heroes of the 80’s and 90’s had on their generations’ style and confidence. The assertive dominance and nonchalant swagger of the game’s greatest players served as both inspiration and aspiration for the two. From the court to the street, sneakers dominated the greatest generation of basketball’s storied history.
When the two met to discuss the collaboration, they instantly knew it would be critical to honor their roots and to honor those that came before them. As the modern athlete has evolved both on and off the court, so too has the style and panache of the street world.
