We've always been fascinated by classic works of art. The perfect forms, the timeless themes. Armless busts, columns, frescoes and the like. Dionysian scenes, dramatic rises, sin and redemption, things of this nature. It’s just so inclusive. It all belongs to all of us. Always.
Innovation is great, but classics are classics for a reason. A classic is eternally iconic, cemented in its own time as an epic game changer, a high bar ever to be reached for and never latched onto, even centuries later.
That mind blowing level of excellence is what inspired our fall collection. Think of it as one giant artistic fantasy, laced up on your feet or slung over your shoulders, like it’s not even a big deal. Oh, but it is.
Enjoy your autumn.
Having lived in almost parallel universes, Jon Buscemi and Raif Adelberg grew up infatuated with the same brands, musicians and artists; The two shared an evolution of style. Later to become an opinion leader and streetwear mogul, Adelberg has served as mentor to Buscemi over the years. The brand’s second project with Adelberg eloquently marries the 90’s LA rock scene with queues taken from the previous capsule line inspired by youth in the skateboarding world. Galvanized by music icon Axel Rose taking to the stage in double high top sneakers, the 150MM sneaker and Slide evoke Adelberg’s experiences with the Sunset Strip scene in the early 90’s.
Kids are people too. People with strong opinions, in many cases. They know things about how to live well, in the moment, with no limitations. Naturally free of adult-imposed conditioning and societal proprieties, they understand what is cool and what is not—innately. Kids are open.

The Giant Chocolate Jon was not easy to make. After a full body scan by the best CGI filmmakers in Hollywood, a 3D printed Jon was created in Paris. After making the head out of actual chocolate it was decided that painting the head to resemble chocolate would be more realistic and appropriate. Tiny real milk chocolate Jon Buscemi’s will be given out this Saturday at Colette.
Sneaker girls are the coolest. At least that’s our stance on the matter. Which is why we were pretty thrilled to find out Jourdan Dunn, she of the fiercest high-heeled walk on the runway today, is secretly a sneaker junky.

Fine artist Angel Otero caught the eye of Jon Buscemi because they share some ideals. Each has refined the art of re-creating a notable piece of art into something more, something idyllic. They see what others don't, and then present it in a way that makes one wonder, "How did I not see that before."
The 100MM Oceano was very much a personal project for Jon Buscemi. "We did an early version of the 100MM in a rich, deep navy blue, but when we were able to source a leather to my standard in this particular blue, which is similar to the navy, I had to make it."
Skateboarding. Traditionally it is the antithesis of luxury, of cleanliness. Safely distant from the aristocracy. Yet skateboarding culture is rooted in the tenets of individuality, style, and expression – attributes shared by all who navigate the high and low streets.

An homage to sport, BUSCEMI® and Ronnie Fieg have come together to deliver a modern, luxury interpretation of the basketball sneaker.
Both Ronnie and Jon share roots in New York - Jon living through the birth of hip hop and the City’s skate culture; Ronnie harnessing the explosion of New York’s iconic street culture from the front lines. Despite a decade gap between the two, each shares a passion for the sport that continues to inspire their work: basketball.
As avid sneaker collectors first, Jon and Ronnie recognize the influence that the basketball heroes of the 80’s and 90’s had on their generations’ style and confidence. The assertive dominance and nonchalant swagger of the game’s greatest players served as both inspiration and aspiration for the two. From the court to the street, sneakers dominated the greatest generation of basketball’s storied history.
When the two met to discuss the collaboration, they instantly knew it would be critical to honor their roots and to honor those that came before them. As the modern athlete has evolved both on and off the court, so too has the style and panache of the street world.
This year, to celebrate basketball’s modern heroes, Ronnie and BUSCEMI® have taken iconic basketball heritage and translated it into a luxurious, off-court design: the 110MM.
The 110MM features hand-selected red and black leathers with a unique chevron quilting covering the tongue and quarter panels. The signature BUSCEMI® handle and flap are translated to the new sport-inspired silhouette with a matching tonal lock at the heel. The unmatched Italian construction sits atop a rippled Margom® of Italy sole built to handle the streets of New York.
The BUSCEMI® X Ronnie Fieg 110MM is available through Kith stores in extremely limited quantities.
